I followed my heart to Italy and fell in love!! 

October 29th, 2010, was my first trip to Europe and I couldn’t have chosen a better way to experience true Italian culture than with Max Brunelli.  Max proved to be the ultimate guide.  He not only provided us with the best accommodation and authentic Italian Cuisine, but also an insider’s view of Umbria and Tuscany.  I felt very at home in my new surroundings and privileged to be a part of this amazing experience.  As a guide, Max was patient, courteous, friendly and always knowledgeable.  In addition and without hesitation, Max went out of his way to accomodate our every need to ensure a harmonious and successful experience for all.  Lastly, there were no language barriers with Max present which made for a delightful opportunity to learn and converse as Max was always willing to teach us what we needed if we asked.  This was by far the best way to experience Italy in my opinion and I look forward with anticipation to my next Italian adventure with Max and his team!

if i had to think of one word to describe my tour with max & cristiana

i would have to say AMAZING!

everything about the tour was AMAZING...the cities and places we visited each

day...the gorgeous b&b & hotel we called home while in italy... the very fact that

max not only toured out little group around but he was a wealth

of knowledge that made our tour that much more enjoyable!

max & cristiana are some of the warmest, friendliest, sincerest and

honest people i have met. they are passionate about their country &

culture and have the most AMAZING ability to share it with everyone

on the tour...we all took home a little bit of italy.

they have been in the hospitality business for many years and there was

no doubt in my mind that they knew EXACTLY how to make our tour

outstanding.

i can't wait for our tour next year... thanks max & cristiana for an amazing

Cristiana was my wedding planner, organizer, and creator of our dream destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful her taste is and how great of a job she did throughout our wedding week. Her attention to detail was impeccable and her easy going personality and happy outlook on life showed in the atmosphere of our special day.

"I signed up to go on a Follow Your Heart to Italy tour with Tracey Heppner last October. Max Brunelli organized and lead the group, showing us the hidden beauty that you would not get to see in larger tour groups, I was in no way let down. Italy was breathtaking! From the medieval villages full of character  to the stunning rolling hills of Tuscany.  I was blown away by the beauty, the culture and the food! So my friends...you have spoilt us.

We had a wonderful time.

We have travelled a lot, but not in large group situations. As you well know

it has its trials not only from an organizational approach but also as a

fellow traveller.

We think that you handled it brilliantly and with such a specific interest

group as Photographers who by nature are very self centred because they are

looking for something specific and unique to them.They aren't good listeners

which embaressed me constantly when you had organised specific guides.

As a non-participant I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to people watch!!

James was so happy to be able to follow his passion without having to worry

about the commercial aspect or the fact that we had to be be responsible for

organizing anything.

I'm rambling but just wanted to say -

The accommodation options were great and both offered different aspects.

The food was fabulous. Our favorite has to be the mad group night in Spello

with the degustation menu which offered such an insight into the regions

food!

The cooking sessions I adored. The fun aspect of preparing food for the

masses. Keeping it simple. It was such a personal way of getting to know the

customs and approaches to life with such dynamic and beautiful people..Thank

you for our treats which have been used in many of our dishes. Before we

left I was telling everyone to be ready to come to dinner upon our return!!!

They certainly expected me to honour my plans.Haven't been brave enough to

make pasta. Gnocchi in small quantities. It is too easy for us to buy fresh

pasta down the street.

I never realized the specific foods of the regions as much before. We would

put them all under the umbrella of Italian and serve them together. Shame.
